Also, I’d like to note another Frosty ability- freeze. Frosties can freeze sps in their snowflake, the max being roughly equivalent to their max sps pool. However, the conversion is not 1:1, freeze 10 might put 7 in there for the cost of 10, depending on the temperature. So, a good tactic would be to be up north in Saxifrage and fill up flake, then change into something that can use said sps and kill some stuff. | Also, I’d like to note another Frosty ability- freeze. A Guide to Flower and Everything Floral
by some cat you’ve never heard of
Contents
Overview
Flower is one of the few forms in which different levels of the form offer diverse options. Unfortunately, it is also one of two forms that can’t attack, and is the only form that can’t move. Also, you have to be outside, and in the right level of flower for it to be working for current temperature and time of day. Keep reading if you’re not completely bored yet.
So, what does flower DO? It increases your hp and sps regeneration rate. By a lot, in some cases. Other abilities include twiddling leaves, complaining about people being in your sun light, and having a little flowergasm because of bees.
Temperature
Now, to learn a bit about temperature. Temperature is a Frosty ability and in flower is about the only real useful time for it. Simply tells you what the temperature is in the current room. From coldest to warmest: Freezing, Cold, Chilly, Fair, Warm, Hot, and some other very hot one I don’t remember.
I’ll note you can also see the temperature if you type weather, but that is lame.
Above is a chilly, slowly moving, cloudy sky. A light wind stirs the air. Above is a roiling, lightly clouded night sky. A strong wind is rushing past. (No temp means Fair)
Flower 1: Daisy
Works during the day only, in chilly fair or warm weather. More sunlight is supposedly better. Only useful if you don’t have sunflower. Though even saxifrage and cactus are better in their element.
Flower 2: Moonflower
Only flower that works at night. More moonlight is supposedly better. Works in chilly, fair, or warm.
Flower 3: Saxifrage
Works during the day only, I don’t think sunlight is important for this one. Cold, chilly and fair only. I also believe you must be in fairly arctic climates (farther north) for saxifrage to work. Check descriptions of rooms, if it sounds barren and cold, you’re probably good to go.
Flower 4: Cactus
Works during the day only, in hot, warm and fair weather. More sunlight is supposedly better. I believe you must be in hot climates (farther south- desert/swamps/etc) for cactus to work. Check room descriptions.
Flower 5: Sunflower
Works during the day only, more sunlight is supposedly better. Works in Chilly, Fair, or Warm.
How to Use Flower
the Poor Mans Way
This is the way you will probably use flower at mid levels. Just running out of newbie heals, but not enough money to support using real heals yet. Fight in whatever other form you want, then when hp gets down as low as you can without feeling like yer gonna die, go flower and heal to full, repeat. Note that should be using as much sps as you can as well.
the More Efficient Way
Then there is the more efficient way, and how I usually use flower. That is, only when stuffed, drunk, and low on health. In the best flower forms you’ll be back to full health in maybe a minute. Like using sleep at an inn, only cheaper, and even quicker in some cases.
