Poison here refers to the affliction of generic poison, an ailment common enough to have its own space reserved in "score".
Getting Poisoned
There are many ways to get poisoned. Eating nightshade, getting hit by a poisoned weapon, being wounded by a poisonous NPC, and setting off a treasure hunt chest trap are just a few of them.
Poison Cures
- Yellow potion: sold by Shanni in Nepeth (sometimes available in shops, as they can be found in treasure hunt chests)
- Yellow root: Manspiders
- Yellow beetles: found in the bog south of Issla village
- Yellow mushrooms: pick from the patch in Silent Grove
- Antidote: distilled from ginseng root using copper tubing
- Azure potion: sold in Mystic Fair
- Cleric players have prayers to slow and neutralize poison
- Permadra root: picked in Prehistoric Valley (These seem a little weak and are slower-acting than the above cures. It took two roots to go from Poisoned to Unpoisoned.)
Additional information
Poison can be fatal! Do not laze around expecting it to go away on its own. If poison is a common problem for you, you may want to consider taking the Poison Resistant trait. This will both boost your poison resistance and cause the effects of poison to fade away over time.
