Demon's Frenzy

This document seems to detail a horrific process of binding a maiden's soul
to a demon blade and allowing the evil within to feed upon her for all
eternity. This would require the soul gem of a maiden and a suitable demon
blade.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

Chain Staff

This document describes an interesting conceptual weapon. It involves cutting
a long, heavy, metallic staff into three parts, putting handholds onto each
section with pelts, then linking them up again using the chain from a flail
or morning star. It mentions that newly forged staves would shatter in the
process as the metal will not have set properly.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.
This three part staff is an interesting weapon. It is three sections of heavy
cylindrical metal connected by a heavy chain. Each section has a comfortable
looking fur handhold. You imagine that this would be very good in the hands
of someone ambidextrous.
Two hands are needed to wield it.
It looks heavy.

Elemental Crossbow

This document seems to detail the making of an elemental crossbow. The author
suggests that five gems of magical and elemental power that he saw in his
travels could have their power infused into a magical crossbow, which would
then be reinforced with mithril.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.
This crossbow looks surreal. Its elegantly curved frame is covered with
beautiful runes, giving off a lovely silver and mithril lustre. As you look
at it, you notice that the colours on the crossbow shift and change between
all the colours in the rainbow. Sometimes quick and violent, sometimes slow
and ponderous, the changes leave you confused as to the true colour of this
artifact.
It looks somewhat heavy.

The Staff of Fire and Ice

This document seems to detail the making of an elemental staff. The author of
it suggests that an orb of fire and an orb of cold be bound by bands to a
staff with existing elemental powers to make it more powerful. The author
comments that it would require a very powerful elemental mage to succeed in
this fusing.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

King's blade

This document documents the writer's desire to impress a king with an
exquisitely crafted, well balanced, jeweled blade. It suggests that there are
two shards of a jewel that could be put back together to decorate a jeweled
blade. The ornamentation could then be rounded out with an emerald and a
ruby.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

Spiked gauntlets

This document describes a fairly logical improvement to brawlers' gauntlets.
It suggests that the spikes from flails or morning stars be fused onto
metallic gauntlets to make them more deadly in combat.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

Ring of restoration

This document seems to be the notes of a cleric. The writer suggests that
some healing objects she has seen in her travels could be melted down
together and remade into a new ring which combines all their healing
properties. She suggests that this would require a ring of regeneration to
start as the base, with a potion of healing, a wand of healing and also
another strong source of healing energy.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

Xenophobe

This document was clearly written by someone who hates the world. It details
reinforcing a human slaying morning star with other weapons that are
enchanted specifically to slay creatures of a specific race, creating a
monster flail that would be extra effective against almost any race under the
sun.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

Weight/Str notes: Poldara made with morning star and an unusual sabre (not identified first). Resulting Xenophobe weighed 6 and required 15 strength to wield.

Blade of Righteousness

This document seems to be the musings of someone who was clearly a holy man.
It details the improvements that could be made to a saintly blade he saw
wielded by a prince through adding the forces of goodness of other holy items
to it - namely a ring and another holy weapon.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

Note: Damage varies based on own align and opponents align.

Gathering of the Spiders

This document details the bringing together of several Drowgar and manspider
artifacts. It considers the insertion of a medallion into a relic of the god
Losoth, bound by spider silk to seal the new weapon.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.
Weapon Type Skill Wt. Str Damage Parry Handed Made With
Gathering of the Spiders shortsword 45-55 2 ? Average Nearly Perfect One Handed the Blade of Losoth

Note: Chance to excrete silk webbing, entangling the enemy and reducing dexterity by 1. An entangled enemy will drop 1-4 strands of spider silk when killed.

Shadow Blade

This document describes the possible forging of a shadow blade of evil from
some items the writer has seen in his travels. It would involve a blade of
evil, a dagger of evil and a dark medallion.
Something this complicated would need to be crafted by a master smith or mage.

Note: This weapon can be made into a longsword or two handed sword. Performs better for evil wielders. "The blade seems to draw off your evil as it cuts and slashes into your opponent!"
