There are a number of weapons that are usable as thrown weapons. They are a way of causing great damage as they can be thrown every round, though they have a chance of breaking. Thrown weapons stay in an enemy's inventory, so be careful when throwing against enemies that may throw back.
Damage from thrown weapons is entirely dependent on your ability in thrown weapon. Accuracy relies on both thrown weapon ability and Marksmanship skill.
